Method 1: Measure an Existing Ring

  1. 1Select a ring that fits comfortably on the finger you want to measure.
  2. 2Measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimeters.
  3. 3Use the chart below to find your US ring size.

Method 2: Measure Your Finger

  1. 1Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string.
  2. 2Wrap it around the base of your finger (where the ring would sit).
  3. 3Mark where the paper/string overlaps.
  4. 4Measure the length in millimeters — this is your circumference.
  5. 5Use the chart below to find your US ring size.
