I started Nitzi Diamond Co. because I was tired of watching people get ripped off. The traditional jewelry industry runs on information asymmetry — they know what a stone is worth, and they're betting you don't.
I grew up around sales — closing deals before most people had a driver's license. When I discovered lab-grown diamonds, I saw the same pattern I'd seen in every industry: a better product at a fraction of the cost, held back by marketing and middlemen.
